Roy Crooks joined Country Club Trust Company in 2015 as a Senior Vice President and Trust Officer, working with trust and investment management clients.
For 28 years, Roy held positions in trust administration with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management and its predecessor trust organizations in Kansas City. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for U.S. Trust. From 1984 to 1987, he was a corporate Trust Administrator and Trust Officer with Commerce Bank of Kansas City. He earned his law degree in 1982, and was in the private practice of law from 1982 to 1983. His legal practice included taxation, estate planning and probate.
Roy is a graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Kansas. He is a member of the Kansas City Estate Planning Society, and was a board member of the Lawyers Association of Kansas City.
Roy's community involvement includes serving on the board of the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra. He has also served as a board member of First Call, an organization dedicated to drug and alcohol prevention and recovery, and has served on several committees of the American Royal.
